On Friday, the sixth Super Four game of the 2023 Asia Cup will pit India against Bangladesh.

India has dominated the last five games of the Asia Cup 2023 super four. They defeated the two winners of the previous competition in 2022. India has so successfully advanced to the competition's finals. It is now time to wait for Pakistan and Sri Lanka to announce the second finalist.

In the meantime, India's final group game is against Bangladesh. The match will take place at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo on Friday, September 15. Bangladesh has nothing to lose because they have already been eliminated from the competition. However, India will try to win the match so they can have momentum going into the championship game. Here, we'll discuss the projected starting lineup for India.

IND vs BAN: India’s Predicted Playing XI vs Bangladesh

Rohit Sharma, the captain of India, has been playing fantastic cricket. With the exception of the first game, he has scored fifty in each game. Because of this, he presently has the most runs scored (194) in the competition. Rohit will aim to carry on with his current strategy and put Bangladesh under pressure right away.

2. Shubman Gill:

Another Indian batter who has performed well so far is Shubman Gill. He has two half-centuries and has 154 runs scored in four innings at an average of 51.33 with a strikeout percentage of 90.05. He will want to maintain his performance and keep tallying at the top of the list. Gill can switch gears when necessary and perform brilliantly as an anchor.

3. Virat Kohli:

All of Virat Kohli's fans want to see him score centuries. When he hit his 47th ODI century against Pakistan, he likely played the best innings of the competition. But he received a nice ball against Sri Lanka and was dismissed easily. But he will try to score as many runs as he can to be in shape for the upcoming World Cup.

4. Shreyas Iyer:

Due to a back spasm, Shreyas Iyer missed India's last two games; however, he is now back and has joined the team. He has also begun practising his batting, which is encouraging for India. Although KL Rahul has performed admirably in the last two games, India may decide to switch Rahul out for Iyer now that they have advanced to the finals. Prior to the World Cup beginning, he also needs to play several games.

5. Ishan Kishan (Wk):

Ishan Kishan has had a respectable season so far in ODIs. The fact that he has four half century in his last five innings of play tells the entire picture. In the first game, the left-hander made the No. 5 spot for Paksitan by throwing a crucial strike against him. In the previous game, he appeared to be having some difficulty, but he still managed to score 33 significant runs.

6. Hardik Pandya:

This tournament, Hardik Pandya has shown a lot of promise with both the bat and the ball. He has taken vital wickets and scored runs when they were needed. His pass to Babar Azam might be the game's most important pass. The team wants the all-rounder to have a bigger influence, so he'll strive to do that. He can make a difference when playing Bangladesh.

7. Ravindra Jadeja:

The batsman, Ravindra Jadeja, has not yet made an appearance in this competition. The bowler Jadeja, however, has done well. With Colombo's surfaces turning, Jadeja's five wickets at an average of 19.80 in three innings are more significant. He puts the batter under restriction and prevents them from scoring rapidly, which increases pressure on the opponent.

8. Axar Patel:

Axar Patel struggled against Sri Lanka and was bowled out, but his critical 26 runs at the plate were crucial. That enabled India to score 210 runs, which turned out to be a winning total. India will bat with three spinners on another turning pitch, and Axar will get a match. But this time, he'll try to maximise the opportunity and improve things with the ball as well.

9. Jasprit Bumrah:

In this competition, Jasprit Bumrah has been the bowler who has caused the most trouble for the batters, and that is to be expected of him. Because he excels at what he does, Bangladesh's star bowler will pose the greatest threat. Bumrah's opening spell can significantly alter the outcome because he can take a few wickets early and apply pressure.

10. Kuldeep Yadav:

Kuldeep Yadav has occasionally been an unplayable bowler in this competition. Despite not taking a single wicket in his first two appearances, he has nine wickets in his past two matches and is currently tied for the most wickets taken. He will try to keep up his form and increase the number of wickets he has.

11. Mohammed Siraj:

Sharing the new ball with Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj has performed admirably. He has so far claimed four wickets and has shown to be a challenging bowler for the hitters to confront. India wants Siraj to keep up the wonderful work he's been doing so far. On Friday, he will face the bats from Bangladesh and is an aggressive bowler.
